Softball Umpire Goes Viral After Clearly Wrong Out Call

Either this umpire has vision problems or he wasn't paying attention.

The clip of a radical miscalculation during the Fultondale High School softball game in Alabama on Thursday has gone viral since a spectator—who was understandably confused by the call in question—uploaded it.

According to Erik Harris of the North Jefferson News, Sophomore Lindsey Harris stayed on first base after the call because she fully believed she belonged there, as do most of the clip's viewers.

The ump eventually ordered her back to the dugout as the call stood. But fortunately for Harris, Fultondale defeated Minor, 19-8, despite the miscue.
