Crufts Dog Show Results 2017: Friday Winners, Updated Schedule and TV Info

The best utility and toy breed prizes were decided at the 2017 Crufts Dog Show, with Frankie the Miniature Poodle and Kagayaki the Yorkshire Terrier capturing the awards on Friday.

Frankie, owned by Melanie Harwood, strutted his way to the win in the utility class, as Kagayaki claimed the victory in the toy class after travelling from Japan to compete.

The four-year-old has won multiple titles in her homeland, and now joins the other group winners in the finale.

Harwood was emotional as her dog claimed a place in the Best of Show on the final day, winning the utility class against a magnificently diverse field.

The Kennel Club provided footage of Frankie's special moment:

Kagayaki was a surprise winner in the toy class, but the Yorkshire Terrier has won competitions in Japan.

The owner's winning emotions were shared by the Kennel Club:

Mrs. Kadowaki was surprised to be given the title after travelling across the world to take part at the show.

The Best in Show award has yet to be won by a Japanese-based dog.

The action continues on Saturday as the Gundog breed class is decided at the world's largest canine competition.
