Nick Young's Home Reportedly Burglarized in LA, $500k in Cash and Jewelry Stolen
Los Angeles Lakers guard Nick Young's home was reportedly burglarized in February, resulting in the theft of $500,000 in cash and jewelry.
According to TMZ Sports, law-enforcement sources confirmed that burglars took a safe from Young's L.A. residence, as well as $30,000, three gold chains and a custom ring.
This marks the second time Young has been the victim of a burglary in recent years, as he had $100,000 worth of items stolen from a different L.A. home in 2014, per TMZ Sports.
Young isn't the only Los Angeles athlete to be burglarized in recent weeks. Former Lakers guard Derek Fisher had his five NBA championship rings stolen in January, and L.A. Dodgers outfielder Yasiel Puig's home was robbed of $500,000 in jewelry this month.
The 31-year-old Young is in the midst of his fourth season with the Lakers and is fourth on the team in scoring at 13.5 points per game.
Los Angeles police are currently trying to identify potential suspects.
