High School Football Player Breaks Own State Record by Squatting 1,005 Pounds

Not content with his own state record, Holy Cross of San Antonio senior Joseph Pena decided to go even bigger.
And he managed to beat his old mark...by 75 pounds.
The 6'1", 340-pound Pena blew everyone away by squatting an unbelievable 1,005 pounds. That's not a typo.
1,005 pounds.
Pena is a center on the football team, so with that kind of strength, he figures to be a solid lineman. His latest feat should have college coaches taking an even closer look at his game.
