Phoenix Suns, Washington Wizards Nearly Brawl in 2nd Quarter

Things got rather chippy early in the second quarter of Tuesday's game between the Washington Wizards and Phoenix Suns at Talking Stick Resort Arena.

The scrum began when Washington forward Jason Smith leveled Phoenix guard Tyler Ulis with a punishing screen. Jared Dudley of the Suns made his way over and bumped Smith in defense of his teammate, and both Dudley and Wizards guard Brandon Jennings had to be restrained so the situation didn't escalate.

Washington took a 68-61 lead into halftime.
