Dion Waiters Banks Deep 3-Pointer in Final Seconds vs. Cavaliers
The Miami Heat's Dion Waiters silenced the crowd with a shot in the waning seconds versus the Cleveland Cavaliers on Monday night.
With just 14 ticks left, Waiters caught a pass from Josh Richardson at the top of the arc and immediately shot it from several feet out, easily landing the three and drawing boos from Cavs fans.
Waiters didn't back down at all, instead appearing to return a little trash talk and bragging to the disgruntled spectators.
The Cavaliers drafted Waiters fourth overall in 2012, and he played two-and-a-half unremarkable seasons in Cleveland before being dealt to the Oklahoma City Thunder. Cavs fans already didn't think much of Waiters, and while he's certainly playing better now, his jawing isn't likely to have changed their minds.
