Isaiah Thomas Launches 3, Looks at Suns Bench Before Shot Goes In

Boston Celtics All-Star point guard Isaiah Thomas has been playing with a chip on his shoulder his entire life.

So when he returned to Phoenix on Sunday to play against the Suns team that traded him to Boston two years ago for Marcus Thornton and a first-round pick, there was little doubt Thomas would be looking to prove something.

It didn't take long for him to leave his mark. He scored 10 first-quarter points, including the above three-pointer from the corner. After he released the shot but before it went in, Thomas spun and began trotting back on defense.
