Dries Mertens Marks His Territory at Roma's Stadio Olimpico

Napoli forward Dries Mertens risked the wrath of Roma's Stadio Olimpico crowd on Saturday afternoon, lifting his leg against the corner flag and mimicking a dog urinating after putting his side ahead with a sublime chip. 

The celebration, first aired by Finidi George following his goal for Nigeria in World Cup 1994, has been used sparingly since, but Mertens was more than happy to roll back the years in the Italian capital.  

Suffice to say, the home fans were less than impressed.
