Taj Gibson Hits Long-Distance Buzzer-Beater Before Halftime

Oklahoma City Thunder forward Taj Gibson reminded us all during Thursday's game against the Portland Trail Blazers at the Moda Center it's important to play until you hear the buzzer sound. 

With less than three seconds remaining in the first half, Gibson intercepted a deep pass at the opposing three-point line. Before the clock ran out, the 31-year-old heaved a one-handed shot from long distance that hit nothing but net to give the Thunder a 60-57 halftime lead.

Maybe Gibson should think about offering his services to the Cleveland Browns, New York Jets or any other NFL team that could use a quarterback this fall.
