Sumo Wrestler Abruptly Knocks Out Opponent with Single Blow

In a growing culture of savoring knockouts from combat sports, sumo wrestling doesn't fit. One large person pushing another large person outside of a circle doesn't lend well to memorable highlights.

This contest, however, ended in seconds when Musashikuni Mamu knocked down a charging Tomisakae Ryutaro with a swift blow.

Ryutaro repeatedly attempted to regain his footing but couldn't remain upright. He was led off the dohyo. 

Far from a routine sumo maneuver, the vicious shoulder seemingly caught him and the audience off guard.
