John Wall Drills Teammate Marcin Gortat with Pass to Face

Washington Wizards center Marcin Gortat was in the wrong place at the wrong time halfway through the third quarter of Wednesday's game against the Toronto Raptors at Air Canada Centre.

The sequence started innocently when Washington guard John Wall grabbed an offensive rebound. Wall, looking to turn the second chance into two points, attempted to deliver a rocket of a pass into the paint, but he instead fired the ball off Gortat's face.

Wall and Gortat may want to work on their communication during the team's next practice.
