Chelsea Transfer News: Michy Batshuayi to Ask for Loan, Latest Blues Rumours
Chelsea forward Michy Batshuayi will reportedly ask for a loan move away from Stamford Bridge in the summer as he has failed to adapt to manager Antonio Conte's tactics and been given limited game time.
According to Simon Johnson in the Evening Standard, the 23-year-old Belgian's struggles to make the first team since his £33 million July signing from Marseille has been a result of him failing "to employ Conte's tactical demands in training on a daily basis."
Johnson added that, with Chelsea eager to add further depth to their strike force in the summer—key targets include Alvaro Morata, Romelu Lukaku and Moussa Dembele—Batshuayi will request a temporary departure from west London in a bid to earn more minutes.

Batshuayi has not started a single game in the Premier League in 2016-17 and has only been given 97 minutes in the English top flight, a combination of 16 fleeting appearances from the bench, per WhoScored.com.
He has stiff competition for the sole striker's role at Chelsea as Diego Costa has been in fine form this season.
However, on the two occasions the Spaniard has not started in the league at the head of Conte's attack, the Italian manager has opted to field Eden Hazard as the No. 9 rather than bring in Batshuayi.
The Belgium international has been given chances in the cup competitions and performed fairly well, per Squawka:
He has proved to be a hard worker and adept finisher.
It has not resulted in Batshuayi being given a proper opportunity in the league, though, and he clearly feels he needs to prove himself elsewhere to convince Conte he is worth playing.
Per Johnson, there should be plenty of clubs interested in taking him on loan, specifically West Ham United after they tried to sign him last year.
