Texas TE Recruit Reese Leitao Arrested on Drug Possession Charges

Incoming Texas freshman Reese Leitao was arrested at his high school Tuesday on drug possession charges.
Per Nathan Thompson of Fox 23 News in Oklahoma, the Jenks High School campus police report stated Leitao "had 20 Xanax pills and more than $1,300 on him" and "admitted to a Jenks administrator he was selling the Xanax."
Per Anwar Richardson of Rivals.com, Texas head coach Tom Herman issued a statement on Leitao's arrest:
Per Thompson's report, Jenks Public Schools issued this statement: "We are aware of the situation and we are gathering more information. We will fully cooperate with law enforcement during this ongoing investigation."
Leitao is a tight end recruit who signed with the Longhorns on national signing day. He's a 3-star prospect who is ranked as the No. 1 tight end from Oklahoma and No. 22 tight end in the country, per Scout.com.
Texas will enter 2017 with senior Caleb Bluiett and junior Andrew Beck as its top two tight ends.
