Syracuse Students Receive 3 Bonus Points on Exam After John Gillon's Game-Winner

The Syracuse Orange stunned the Duke Blue Devils on Wednesday night when John Gillon banked a game-winning three-pointer as time expired. In addition to helping his team, the clutch shot earned extra credit for one lucky class.

As shared by the Daily Orange's Connor Grossman, a political science professor awarded everyone three bonus points on their midterm. This generosity was labeled "the Gillon rule" in honor of the senior guard.

The timely three-pointer will help Syracuse's grade during bracketology season, and those three extra points may save students who watched the thrilling contest instead of cramming.
