7-Year-Old Rapper Young Dylan Interacts with NBA Players During All-Star Weekend

Andrew GouldFeb 23, 2017

Before partaking in a messy exhibition game, the NBA's top players schmooze with media, celebrities and fans during All-Star Weekend. Young Dylan, a 7-year-old rapper, snatched a credential from The Ellen DeGeneres Show to meet the league's icons.

The young correspondent greeted Kevin Durant, James Harden, Draymond Green and Kyrie Irving—hopefully Dylan soon learns about Earth in science class—before asking Carmelo Anthony where he wants to play after the trade deadline.

LeBron James said young fans like Dylan inspire him to play basketball. Russell Westbrook, meanwhile, encouraged him to keep performing because "singers get the ladies."

Yet Dylan may most fondly remember his encounters with Stephen Curry. The young lad scored a jumper from the point guard's assist and received a new pair of his signature sneakers.

"He's so nice," Dylan said. "He gave me so much presents."

Before performing Chance the Rapper's "No Problems" on Ellen, he gave the host some kicks from Curry. Not a bad way for a 7-year-old to spend the weekend.
