PennLive.com's Jacob Klinger reported Tuesday that Porter pleaded guilty to a disorderly conduct charge.
As a result of his guilty plea, Porter will have to pay $300 and court costs.
Authorities originally charged the 39-year-old with simple assault, aggravated assault, resisting arrest, public drunkenness and disorderly conduct. The Allegheny County District Attorney's office announced Jan. 12, however, it was dropping all but two of the charges: public drunkenness and disorderly conduct. The office made the decision after viewing the security footage.
Pro Football Talk's Mike Florio wrote Porter could face additional punishment from the NFL. As an assistant coach, he doesn't have the same protections afforded to active players, and the league can levy discipline regardless of the outcome of legal proceedings.
