Soulja Boy Says Boxing Match with Chris Brown Has Been Canceled

Soulja Boy and Chris Brown won't settle their bad blood in the ring after all. 

Soulja Boy announced on Twitter Monday afternoon their planned boxing fight is off (warning: tweet contains NSFW language):

Brown and Soulja Boy initially agreed in January to step inside the ring for a three-round fight that would air on pay-per-view in March.

Soulja Boy sought out the advice and expertise of Floyd Mayweather in preparation for the bout before dumping Mayweather for Evander Holyfield. Brown, meanwhile, received training tips from Mike Tyson.

The war of words began when Soulja Boy liked an Instagram post from Brown's ex-girlfriend, Karrueche Tran, and their rivalry intensified through a series of exchanges on social media.
