Spike Lee Supports Charles Oakley During Spurs Game by Wearing His Jersey
Spike Lee is one of the biggest New York Knicks fans in the world, but he doesn't always agree with the decisions the franchise makes.
Take the Charles Oakley incident that happened last week, for example, which resulted in Oakley's indefinite banishment from Madison Square Garden.
The Knicks legend has received a lot of support from current and former players, but now Lee has shown his support of Oakley by donning Oakley's old No. 34 Knicks jersey courtside Sunday against the San Antonio Spurs.
After the game, Lee also looked into the TV camera focused on him and appeared to say, "Oakley, Oakley, Oakley!"
The Knicks defeated the Spurs, 94-90, which will leave a lot of Knicks fans happy, but nobody will forget what happened to Oakley anytime soon.
