Kevin Durant Puts Final Stamp on Win over Thunder with Deep 3-Pointer
Vincent SamperioFeb 11, 2017
What a moment for Kevin Durant.
His return to Oklahoma City was filled with signs, chants and skirmishes with former teammates, but with just under four minutes left in Saturday's game, the former MVP drained a deep three-pointer that all-but sealed the win for the Golden State Warriors.
While the contest was seemingly out of hand, the Thunder had stayed just close enough to allow for thoughts of a comeback. Durant slammed that door shut with a shot that gave the Warriors a 123-104 lead. Not only did he hit the shot, he did so over Russell Westbrook.
