LeBron James Misses Dunk, Campaigns for Foul That Wasn't
Even one of the best athletes in the world can experience an embarrassing moment in front of a national television audience.
Halfway through the second quarter of Thursday's game between the Cleveland Cavaliers and Oklahoma City Thunder at Chesapeake Energy Arena, Cleveland superstar LeBron James began a fast break ahead of Thunder guard Victor Oladipo.
Oladipo whiffed on his attempted block inside the paint, but James nevertheless bricked his dunk off the rim.
Jordan McRae was there for the putback, but that didn't stop James from complaining about what he believed to be a no-call. Replays showed James could only blame himself, however, as Oladipo didn't come close to making contact.
We don't blame James for trying to save face here, but the tape never lies.
