Bradley Beal Ends D'Angelo Russell Layup with Vicious Rejection

Los Angeles Lakers guard D'Angelo Russell probably should've taken the ball stronger to the rim Thursday night. 

With under five minutes to play in the fourth quarter against the Washington Wizards at Verizon Center, Russell approached the paint for what looked like an easy bucket.

The 20-year-old didn't count on Bradley Beal's quickness, though, as the Washington guard hustled back into the play and swatted Russell's attempt off the backboard with such force the ball flew beyond the key. 

The Wizards went on to defeat the Lakers 116-108.
