No. 9 North Carolina stumbled out of the gate Saturday at the Watsco Center, entering halftime down 39-22 to the Miami Hurricanes. Tar Heels head coach Roy Williams did not handle the deficit well.
Frustrated by a technical foul charged to guard Joel Berry II, Williams stomped on the sidelines and took out his anger on a helpless stool. He at least didn't go full Bobby Knight; he just spiked the chair instead of lunging it across the court.
Oklahoma City Thunder center Enes Kanter, who fractured his right forearm in a moment of anger with a sideline seat Thursday night, urged the coach to be cautious:
