Hailey Langland Hits Historic 1080, Wins Gold at X Games

Zac WassinkJan 26, 2017

Hailey Langland turned 16 years old just last August, and the teenager made history at the 2017 edition of the Winter X Games on Thursday evening.

Langland became the first female to land a 1080 in any discipline at an X Games when she did so in the snowboard big-air event. As you probably guessed, that jump won the Californian gold, which was her first at an X Games.

Langland is no newbie, though, as she won bronze in the women's snowboard slopestyle at last year's X Games.
