Joel Embiid Reacts to All-Star Game Snub

It appears Philadelphia 76ers big man Joel Embiid will have to wait for his opportunity to play in an NBA All-Star Game...and for a chance at a date with Rihanna. 

Embiid—who recently used Twitter to campaign for a date with the pop star, per TMZ Sports—learned Thursday night he will not represent the Eastern Conference in this year's All-Star Game. The 22-year-old is having a stellar season that may earn him Rookie of the Year honors, as he is averaging 19.8 points, 7.8 rebounds and 2.5 blocks per contest. However, he was not chosen to be an All-Star reserve.

Along with lamenting not making the All-Star Game, Embiid also decided to add a topical comment:
