Raiders' Marquette King and Chiefs' Travis Kelce Make Amends at Pro Bowl
The NFL Pro Bowl's return to the AFC vs. NFC format means regular-season rivals must bury the hatchet. It didn't take long for AFC West foes Travis Kelce and Marquette King to foster a friendship.
When the Kansas City Chiefs last met the Oakland Raiders on Dec. 8, Kelce celebrated a Tyreek Hill punt-return touchdown right in front of King. The Chiefs tight end discussed their encounter during a postgame segment on NFL Network:
The punter responded to the NFL's tweet with a dig at Kelce's E! dating show, Catching Kelce:
There was no bad blood, however, when the two lively personalities met in Orlando. Now on the same side for Sunday's exhibition bout, they shared some laughs after practice.
King, arguably the swaggiest of them all, called Kelce "the coolest tight end in the league." Did they just become best friends?
