Louisville Bats to Honor Muhammad Ali with Special Jerseys

The world lost an icon when boxing legend Muhammad Ali died last June.

Ali was one of the few athletes who was bigger than sports, as he made an impact inside and outside the ring. No city was hit harder by the GOAT's death than his hometown of Louisville, Kentucky.

Now, the Louisville Bats—the Triple-A affiliate of the Cincinnati Reds—will take a day this upcoming season to honor the life of Ali.

On June 3, the Bats will host "Muhammad Ali Appreciation Night." As with most minor league promotions, the team will sport one-of-a-kind uniforms on the special night:
