Boston Bakery Sends Martellus Bennett 'You're Awesome' Cake

Martellus Bennett already clinched the sweet treat of his first Super Bowl appearance. Making his incredible week better, he also got free cake.

The tight end couldn't contain his excitement following the New England Patriots' 36-17 AFC Championship Game victory over the Pittsburgh Steelers on Sunday. After dancing with cheerleaders, he announced his intentions of baking a celebratory dessert, per the Providence Journal's Mark Daniels:

Boston's Oakleaf Cakes Bake Shop beat him to the punch, sending Bennett a "You're Awesome!" cake to commemorate New England's AFC title.

Based on his ensuing Instagram posts, it appears he enjoyed the gift:

If Bennett helps New England win its fifth title since 2000, he should consider sharing plans of purchasing a new car.
