In the real world, fights often involve you and your friends squaring off against someone else and their friends. Fights often aren't one-on-one. But what happens on the street after the bars let out on a Saturday night is one thing.

When it comes to actually getting approved by a state athletic commission...well, something just feels wrong about this.
In this case, it was the state of South Carolina that approved Team MMA Battle. There is even a whole point system the promotion came up with (which you can read about here) along with rules for when things devolve to a "2-on-1" affair (that seems really unfair!).
But hey, who are we to judge?
Maybe "Team MMA" is the next big thing waiting to happen. Check out the video highlights and decide for yourself.
