Kickboxer Convulses in Pain on Canvas After Receiving Brutal Liver Kick

Brian OswaldJan 21, 2017

Kickboxing's first major event of 2017 launched Friday night with Glory 37 from Los Angeles. In the opening bout, Victor Pinto was on the receiving end of an absolutely devastating liver kick from Giga Chikadze in the first round.

Chikadze, 28, set up his opening by first delivering a high kick, with not too much power behind it. Pinto, 23, defended but on the reset left his midsection slightly exposed. Chikadze didn't need much room through, ripping the second kick right down the line to said midsection.
