Kristaps Porzingis Flies in from Nowhere, Delivers 1-Handed Putback Slam

Zac WassinkJan 19, 2017

Basketball fans everywhere are glad New York Knicks forward Kristaps Porzingis is no longer nursing an injured Achilles.

In the fourth quarter of Thursday's game between the Knicks and Washington Wizards at Madison Square Garden, New York guard Courtney Lee bricked a shot from beyond the arc.

It first seemed as though one of two Washington players would grab an easy rebound, but Porzingis flew in from the top of the key and delivered an emphatic one-handed putback slam over forward Otto Porter, who didn't see the big man coming until it was too late.
