President Barack Obama leaves office Friday, January 20, after eight years in the highest office in the land. We offer a final look at him as one of the nation's top sports fans and trash-talkers, not to mention arguably its most famous on-court performer. 

Whether he was completing behind-the-back dribbles or draining threes, Obama wasn't afraid to school opponents or even offer shooting tips to players such as Golden State Warriors guard Stephen Curry.

The president met with numerous collegiate and professional championship teams throughout his tenure in the White House, and he often cracked jokes about famous players during those ceremonies.
