MMA Fighter Chokes Opponent Unconscious but Loses Fight Due to Inept Ref

Celine Haga and Amy Montenegro battled back and forth for three rounds at Invicta 21 on Saturday night in Kansas City, Missouri.

With seconds left in the final frame, Haga locked in a rear-naked choke. Montenegro went unconscious, but the ref didn't realize it until after the final bell sounded.

The fight went to the judges, and Montenegro won by unanimous decision (29-28, 29-28, 29-28).

Sometimes in life even when you win, you lose.
