Joel Embiid Changes His Twitter Avatar to Compare TJ McConnell to Michael Jordan

Joel Embiid is stumping for Philadelphia 76ers teammate TJ McConnell after his massive game-winning play against the New York Knicks.

McConnell hit a buzzer-beating shot, shaking Carmelo Anthony for a 98-97 victory Wednesday night.

The crowd—and Embiid—went wild after the win. 

But the Sixers big man took it one step further, celebrating McConnell's game-saving play in his Twitter avatar. 

In a split-screen image, McConnell is juxtaposed with none other than NBA legend Michael Jordan. Both players are depicted in a similar pose. 

Looks like Embiid thinks McConnell may be one of the greats.
