Oklahoma high schooler Trae Young deceived the defender and referee by placing the basketball between his legs during a pump fake.

After picking his opponent's pocket, the senior point guard from Norman North High School hid the ball from a leaping defender. Perhaps confused as well, the official called a traveling violation.

Young disputed the infraction on Twitter:

From that video, it's uncertain if his pivot foot stayed down. If so, it was a clean move.
