Joel Embiid Takes On Rim, Gets Rejected

Philadelphia 76ers center Joel Embiid had a rough Wednesday evening against the New York Knicks.

About four minutes into the second half, Embiid did well to work through New York's Kristaps Porzingis and set himself up for a big-time dunk in front of the Wells Fargo Center crowd.

He didn't get enough lift, however, and he was brutally rejected by the rim. 

That wasn't the first time The Process had a hiccup Wednesday:

According to the Sixers, the 22-year-old suffered an ankle sprain in the first half.
