Cat Zingano Scolds Amanda Nunes for Being 'Ungrateful' Following Ronda Rousey KO

Nathan McCarterJun 4, 2018

Cat Zingano is not too pleased with the UFC bantamweight champion following her UFC 207 showing against Ronda Rousey.

Zingano took to Twitter to voice her displeasure with Amanda Nunes on Thursday. The former title challenger called Nunes "disrespectful" and "ungrateful".

In her interview with Joe Rogan following the fight, Nunes said she commended Rousey for what she has done for the division, but she also exclaimed that fans should stop with the "Ronda Rousey nonsense." Nunes' post-fight antics were filled with goodies, including shushing Rousey's corner and saying she knew that she would "beat the s--t out of Ronda Rousey like that."

None were as astonishing as her savage post-fight tweet of a Photoshopped image showing her pushing Rousey in a stroller.

Zingano holds a win over Nunes. She took a lot of damage in the first round of their UFC 178 meeting but stormed back to finish her in the third. Since then, Zingano is 0-2 with losses to Rousey and Julianna Pena. If Zingano can be more active in 2016, she could get fast-tracked to a title bid with a big win or two given her history against the Brazilian.

Perhaps Zingano needed the fire that Nunes sparked following her UFC 207 victory. Keep tabs on this possible rematch as 2017 chugs along.
