New NBA Free-Throw Rule Explained

Kevin Durant Blocks 2 Shots, Hits 3-Pointer Against Portland

Zac WassinkJan 4, 2017

Golden State Warriors forward Kevin Durant was active at both ends of the court in the first quarter of Wednesday's game between the Warriors and Portland Trail Blazers at Oracle Arena.

With under three minutes remaining in the opening frame, Durant blocked a pair of shots underneath the rim to finish a Portland possession. Andre Iguodala dribbled the ball down the court until he found an open Durant behind the arc, and the 2014 NBA MVP drained the three to extend Golden State's lead to 32-28.

The Warriors held a 40-34 advantage after the first.
