J.J. Watt Surprises 8-Year-Old Fan in the Hospital with Visit, Jersey

When Houston Texans star J.J. Watt hears about people in need, he does everything he can to help out.

On New Year's Eve, a reckless driver in Texas hit two parked cars that then collided into a group of pedestrians, including eight-year-old Noah Fulmer, at a high rate of speed:

Emergency response teams obviously prioritize a victim's health over his/her wardrobe, but for an eight-year-old, losing a jersey of your favorite player can be devastating—no matter the circumstances.

Through the power of the internet, news of the accident made its way to Watt, who is currently rehabbing a back injury. Doing what he does, the Texans defensive end stepped in to try to help a family get through a tough time:
