Carson Wentz Gives Eagles' Offensive Linemen Customized Shotguns

Carson Wentz thought outside the box and gave his offensive linemen an unconventional present.

The Philadelphia Eagles rookie quarterback is an avid hunter who spent the holiday weekend shooting ducks and geese with American League MVP Mike Trout, per NJ.com's Eliot Shorr-Parks. According to ESPN.com's Tim McManus, the rookie shared his passion with his burly teammates by buying each blocker a Beretta shotgun with the player's number engraved.

"This is an awesome gun. I'm excited about it," guard Allen Barbre told McManus. "I don't know if I'll shoot it, though. It's pretty nice."

Rookie guard Isaac Seumalo said he has no hunting experience but is willing to learn.

"I haven't really held a gun or anything before," Seumalo said. "But I'm more than thankful for it. It looks sweet. Carson said he'd teach me how to use it and all that good stuff."

Led by Pro Bowl tackle Jason Peters, the unit limited opponents to 31 sacks this season. Football fans usually take offensive linemen for granted, but Wentz showed his appreciation with a violent, yet thoughtful gift.
