Federico Bernardeschi has completed his transfer from Fiorentina to Juventus, signing a five-year deal with the Italian champions.

The Bianconeri announced the news on Monday.

The Italy international joins Juve having crafted a reputation as one of Serie A's most exciting young players. Here is a look at why there's such a buzz about the versatile starlet:

There's certainly a lot admire about Bernardeschi. Technically he's a wonderful talent, able to beat opponents with nifty feet, thread passes through into tight spaces and also carry the ball across the field with elegance.

They're attributes we've seen from the Italian all over the pitch. Last season alone he's featured in a variety of different positions for La Viola, including right-wing back, across midfield and, most commonly, as a No. 10.

The Scouted Football Twitter feed also praised his versatility in operating as a left-sided wing-back during the summer's UEFA Under-21 European Championships:

Impressively, even with these shifts in position, Bernardeschi has still been able to make tangible contributions in the final third that far outstrip the majority of other players in his age bracket.

It'll be fascinating to see where Massimiliano Allegri chooses to use the Azzurri man.

At Fiorentina, Bernardeschi seemed to relish the responsibility of being the man for all positions, although his game would undoubtedly benefit with a defined duty and some long-term planning. But that'll be tough with so much quality in the Italian champions' squad.

After all, there are areas of Bernardeschi's game that do need refining, most notably in terms of his willingness to engage in physical duels and eradicating a touch of inconsistency that occasionally blemishes his final pass.

This transfer will ultimately tell us a lot about how far Bernardeschi can go in the game. After a big-money switch to a high-profile football club, there'll be an onus and a pressure on the youngster to raise his standard again.
