Kyle NewportJun 8, 2018

With their game against the Denver Broncos well in hand, the Kansas City Chiefs decided to cap off their latest victory by having a little fun.

Up 27-10 with 1:55 to play, Kansas City coach Andy Reid dug into his bag of tricks and sent Dontari Poe to play quarterback on 3rd-and-goal. You know, the 6'3", 346-pound nose tackle. That Dontari Poe.

Poe, who has a rushing touchdown in each of the past two seasons, came through with the highlight of the night—by throwing a jump pass for a touchdown. Tight end Demetrius Harris caught the pass to make the big man's touchdown throw official:

That's not something you see every day.

The ensuing extra point was missed, but Poe's touchdown pass gave the Chiefs a 33-10 lead, which would turn out to be the final score.

Not a bad way to cap off Christmas, a holiday that saw Kansas City secure a spot in the playoffs.
