Chiefs NT Dontari Poe Seals Victory over Broncos with Jump-Pass TD
With their game against the Denver Broncos well in hand, the Kansas City Chiefs decided to cap off their latest victory by having a little fun.
Up 27-10 with 1:55 to play, Kansas City coach Andy Reid dug into his bag of tricks and sent Dontari Poe to play quarterback on 3rd-and-goal. You know, the 6'3", 346-pound nose tackle. That Dontari Poe.
Poe, who has a rushing touchdown in each of the past two seasons, came through with the highlight of the night—by throwing a jump pass for a touchdown. Tight end Demetrius Harris caught the pass to make the big man's touchdown throw official:
