JaVale McGee Returns to Court to Offer High-5 to Klay Thompson

Golden State Warriors center JaVale McGee was on the receiving end of a lob pass for an alley-oop dunk from teammate Klay Thompson during the first quarter of Thursday's game against the New York Knicks at Oracle Arena. 

McGee gave Thompson a belated thanks. 

The big man headed toward the bench with under five minutes to play in the first, and he high-fived several teammates on the sideline before realizing he forgot to thank the man responsible for the previously mentioned assist. Rather than wait longer to recognize Klay's efforts, McGee instead returned to the court to shake Thompson's hand. 

Thompson, who never saw McGee coming, barely acknowledged his teammate before play resumed.
