Stephen Curry to Wear, Auction Shoes for Oakland Fire Relief

Golden State Warriors guard Stephen Curry will wear sneakers for a cause Thursday night when the Warriors host the New York Knicks. 

Curry announced via his personal Twitter page he will wear and then auction a special pair of shoes to support the victims and families associated with the Dec. 2 warehouse fire in Oakland, California. 

According to the Oakland Fire Relief page on YouCaring.com, the Warriors, Oakland A's and Oakland Raiders each pledged to "match up to $50,000 that fans donate for a total of $150,000."
