Floyd Mayweather Trolls Conor McGregor with Instagram Video of Loss to Nate Diaz
Floyd Mayweather Jr. and Conor McGregor have been throwing verbal jabs for months with speculation swirling that the two could one day meet in the ring, and "Money" took things a step further Thursday.ย
In a post on Instagram, Mayweather trolled McGregor with a video depicting the Irishman's loss to Nate Diaz at UFC 196 on March 5:ย
This kind of behavior is nothing new for Mayweather, who recently went on Instagram Live and threatened to rough up McGregor the next time he sees him.ย

"I don't give a f--k what night it was, I ain't never takin' no L," Mayweather said, (via MMAFighting.com's Jed Meshew). "I'm f--king McGregor up too. Punk ass McGregor, I'm gonna slap the s--t out of McGregor when I see him."
McGregor fueled speculation that he could one day spar with Mayweather when he received a boxing license in California, but the undefeated pound-for-pound champion dismissed those actions as meaningful during the live broadcast.ย
"Man, I donโt fight in California. What did he get a license in California for?โ Mayweather said, according to FightHype.com's Ben Thompson. "Iโma tell you like this, heโs blowing smoke up everybodyโs ass. He donโt really want to fight because I went to his boss. He donโt really want to fight. He's just doing that to keep his name alive, you know what Iโm saying, to stay relevant."
Considering McGregor previously demanded $100 million to fight Mayweather under boxing rules, according to TMZ, the back-and-forth barbs can be chalked up as conjecture and not much more for the time being.ย
