AJ Styles vs. James Ellsworth WWE Championship Match Postponed Due to Illness
The WWE championship match between AJ Styles and James Ellsworth on SmackDown Live was delayed yet again after The Phenomenal One wasn't cleared to compete last week.
This week it was Ellsworth who wasn't able to compete, due to an illness, per WWE:

A makeup date for the postponed match has yet to be announced, however Dolph Ziggler would later win a No. 1 contender's match over Dean Ambrose, Luck Harper and The Miz.
Ellsworth would tweet about his status on Twitter:
Ellsworth holds a 3-0 record over Styles due primarily to the aid of Ambrose. That included a ladder match victory that not only netted Ellsworth a SmackDown contract, but also a title shot.
As the de facto No. 1 contender, Ellsworth involved himself in the TLC match between Styles at Ambrose by shockingly pushing the Lunatic Fringe off the ladder and allowing Styles to successfully retain.
After seemingly turning on the Superstar who helped him secure a deal with the blue brand, Ellsworth explained his actions on Twitter:
Ellsworth was supposed to have his championship match against Styles on the SmackDown following TLC, but the bout was postponed due to Styles suffering an injury and being forced to wear a walking boot after the brutality of his clash with Ambrose.
Prior to the determination that he would not be able to wrestle, the Champ That Runs the Camp had some strong words for Ellsworth:
Although Styles didn't wrestle last week, he did have a confrontation with Ellsworth, during which the underdog went so far as to mock his more talented and experienced opponent, per WWE's official Twitter account:
Ellsworth's shenanigans didn't last long, as Ambrose made a mad dash to the ring and laid him out with Dirty Deeds in response to what occurred at TLC.
Ambrose seemed ready to put his issues with Ellsworth behind him after that, but Ellsworth involved himself in Ambrose's Intercontinental Championship match against The Miz later in the night and accidentally cost him the title.
That has put an even bigger target on Ellsworth's back.
While Ellsworth technically has beaten Styles on three occasions, the odds are against him due to the fact that he burned bridges with regard to his alliance with Ambrose.
Now it remains to be seen when Styles will have the opportunity to get even with Ellsworth as Ziggler now enters the picture.
