Injured Isaiah Thomas Plays NBA 2K on the Celtics Jumbotron with Kids

Since he can't get any action in Friday night's faceoff against the Toronto Raptors, Isaiah Thomas took the virtual route.

Still sidelined with a groin injury, the Boston Celtics guard gathered in the stands with a few young fans for a game of NBA 2K on the TD Garden Jumbotron.

But he didn't pull any punches.

Playing as the Dallas Mavericks, Thomas dominated, leading his opponent—whom he forbade from playing as the Golden State Warriors, according to MassLive.com's Jay King—22-6 after the first quarter. 

"I wasn't playing no games," he told the kid, per King. "Usually I only play for money."
