Texas Coach Tom Herman Highlights Journey with Old and New Business Cards

Tom Herman will return to Texas with a far more prestigious job title.

The newly hired head football coach's first Division I coaching job was as a graduate assistant for Mack Brown's Longhorns from 1999 to 2000. Now he's back in Austin after two successful seasons at the helm of the Houston Cougars, who went 22-4 under his watch.

Herman illustrated the path to his dream job by posting his old and new business cards on Twitter. He encouraged all assistants filling the thankless role he served 16 years ago to "keep working hard" because "dreams can come true."

It's an inspiring message for anyone chasing a lofty goal, but he may want to change his phone number and email address after sharing both on social media.
