Reggie Bush to Wear Custom Cleats in Honor of Joe McKnight

Reggie Bush will wear custom cleats during the Buffalo Bills' Week 13 game against the Oakland Raiders to honor the late Joe McKnight.

McKnight was shot to death in an apparent road-rage incident Thursday. The former Southern California Trojans and New York Jets running back was 28.

Bush, a fellow USC alumnus, mourned the loss on Twitter:

On Saturday morning, the Bills running back shared a photo of the footwear he plans to wear during Sunday's game. McKnight was born in 1988, not 1983 as transcribed on the shoes. Bush acknowledged the error:

Bush should not face a fine, as the NFL will allow players to wear custom cleats in Week 13 as part of its "My Cause My Cleats" campaign.
