Most Likely Backlash Heel/Face Turns 🎭
John Cena will benefit from his years of hard work when he hosts Saturday Night Live on Dec. 10, according to WWE.com. He has made a cameo on the sketch comedy show before, but this will be his first time hosting.
The Rock has been the featured guest on SNL four times, making characters like The Rock Obama a staple of his appearances.
Cena will likely appear in at least one skit mocking his chosen profession. After breakout performances in Sisters and Trainwreck, it will be interesting to see how he does in a live comedy setting.
The Rock Makes Sports Illustrated Cover
With everything Dwayne Johnson has accomplished in his career as both an actor and a wrestler, it's shocking it has taken this long for Sports Illustrated to put him on the cover.
The Rock has found success in just about everything he attempts. He has become one of the most in-demand actors in Hollywood, and it seems like he never stops working.
Johnson has been going strong ever since he first debuted in WWE 20 years ago. Vince McMahon took to Twitter to congratulate the man who helped him defeat WCW in the Monday Night Wars.
Between the HBO show Ballers and an endless stream of action and comedy movies, The Rock has become the new go-to guy in the entertainment business the way Arnold Schwarzenegger was in the '90s.
Percy Watson Returns to NXT as an Announcer
When WWE first introduced the NXT concept, it was a hybrid wrestling and reality show featuring Superstar hopefuls being coached by WWE Superstars in a series of challenges, with the winner being granted a contract.
As it turned out, everyone who competed in the first season was given a contract and put into a stable called Nexus in 2010. Six years later, the only member of the group still wrestling full-time for WWE is Heath Slater.
In the second season, Percy Watson was one of the rookies being coached by a WWE Superstar. You may remember him as the guy who wore glasses with colored frames to match his trunks.
After being released in 2013, Watson has returned to NXT as one of the new announcers. A few fans posted photos of him making his entrance on Twitter.
Watson's greatest asset during his original run in NXT was his sense of humor, so hopefully he brings that same attitude to the commentary table.
