Cam Newton Makes Outstanding Throw to Ted Ginn Jr. for 88-Yard Touchdown

After going 15-1 in 2015 and making the Super Bowl, the Carolina Panthers have underwhelmed for much of the 2016 campaign. Thanks to their 35-32 loss against the Oakland Raiders on Sunday, the Panthers fell to 4-7 on the year.

If Carolina can take away any positives from the loss, this play is one of them.

Midway through the third quarter, Cam Newton threw a deep pass to Ted Ginn Jr., and the speedy receiver did the rest himself, sprinting his way to an 88-yard touchdown. Newton, throwing off his back foot, put the ball exactly where it needed to be for Ginn to take off.

The Panthers need many things to go their way over the final five weeks of the regular season to have a shot at making the playoffs. Big plays like this from Newton and Ginn are a must moving forward.
